My Hobbies include drawing, videogames, Rachel, anime, playing guitar, hanging out with friends, writing poetry/songs, god, and theology. I am a very deep person, or so I have been told. In the summer, I like to walk to an area of the woods behind my house, and lay in the soft grass while watching the clouds blow over. I really like Thunderstoms, and my favorite look any of the seasons have to offer is when all the tree's are frozen with ice. In the winter, I like snowbaording, spring I like to hike, and summer being out in the sun at the lake with my friends. We go to this place known as the oval and have parties. I didn't say fall because i hate fall. I hate death. Fall is ugly after the leaves go, and everything is dead. Even the air. I hide during this time. My goals are to become a Web Designer and GraphX Artist. I want to one day publish my own comic and productions site. Sunday, August 01, 2004 Sacrafices
Listening to: Better by Hoobastank Well, this weekend has been... rather eventful. I worked on my engine and decided to paint it blue when I finish with it. I have to take it to have the crank turned for any of you who do know what that means. I replaced the pistons and a few other things. I have to order an engine rebuild kit. But I will have to wait until the crank is turned so they know to order a slightly larger part for it. Saturday and Sunday I worked. Saturday, I couldn't concentrate because of a situation which has now passed (thank god) was bothering me. It made me so edgy, I almost fainted. I finally passed out when I came home from work early. Waking up a little later, the party I was gonna go to had already started, so I jumped online and waited for Molly. Bob stopped by. We hung out for a little while and then he left. I checked my messenger and she still wasn't on. So I played some Mega Man and then I went to log off, and just as I opened my AIM window, I noticed her name idled. ~phew. SO I talked with her, which made my whole weekend better. She logged off, and being my mind was finally at ease, I played Final Fantasy XI. I played till 4 am! That means I am back to normal. Play till 4-5 am, sleep till whoever dares to call and wake me up first (which winner usually is around 12:30-1 PM). Today I woke up at 12:20, to my boss. I was gonna go to church but I didn't feel good when I woke up. He pulled me out of bed and I worked till about 4. I then came home and played FFIII (Final Fantasy VI in Japan). While waiting for Molly to get online, I watched a really, scary movie in my opinion. Dante's Peak. That movie scared me as a child (yes the movie has been out that long). But after watching it again, I realized something. There is a part when the characters are in this lake of acid and water. They are on a boat trying to get to shore as the water eats away at the boat, and after getting 3/4 of the way to shore, the boat engine gives out due to the acid eating the prop away. So the dad, wraps his hand in his coat and starts paddling the water. >.< the boat starts to go under water now, and the grandma does the most heroic thing. She jumps out of the boat, and starts pulling it to shore just in time. As the family jumps out the boat goes totaly under. The grandma screams in pain and tries to get to shore, as the acid water eats her legs up. She was willing to sacrafice herself, so as to save her family. That's heroic and shows just how much she loves them. It then made me think about sacrafices, and what some people have to learn to sacrafice for the one(s) they love. I stopped, and I thought about all that I have sacraficed, and what has been sacraficed for me. This is something a lot of people look over in life. Especially sacrafices made so that the person(s) you love don't get hurt. I wanna be a hero... and for the person I love, I will sacrafice a lot. Blogged by Marcus Morris at 8:30 PM
